Arrival in Buenos Aires — a vibrant city blending Latin passion with European romance, famous for its architecture and cuisine. Check in at the booked 5* hotel. Plan your arrival for the first half of the day.

Charter flight from Buenos Aires to Ushuaia — the southernmost city in the world. Aboard Scenic Eclipse the crew welcomes you, you settle into your suite and raise a toast to the start of the journey with views of the Andes from your private veranda.
Scenic Eclipse — suite of the chosen category
Sailing across the famed Drake Passage. We adjust to the rhythm of the ocean and explore the yacht's amenities — 9 restaurants, bars and lounges, Senses Spa. The expedition team shares plans for the landings during a presentation in the theatre.
Scenic Eclipse
Today we enter Antarctic waters — on the observation deck we watch for the first iceberg and the wandering albatross. In the evening — New Year 2027 celebration with an exquisite gala dinner on Argentine time.
Scenic Eclipse
Six days in Antarctica. Icebergs of every shape and size, ice mountains, whales and seals on ice floes. Zodiac landings, kayaking, and paddleboarding. On one of the days — a complimentary helicopter flight or a submersible dive. An opportunity for a polar plunge — a rite of passage for travellers to Antarctica.
Scenic Eclipse
Heading back to Ushuaia. We continue watching whales and seabirds from the deck. The crew hosts onboard activities that bring the journey back to life. On the final evening — a farewell captain's dinner.
Scenic Eclipse
We say goodbye to the crew and disembark after breakfast. Flight to Buenos Aires and onward home — taking with us memories of two New Year celebrations in Antarctica.

Useful Information

Climate
Antarctic summer: December–January are the warmest months. Air temperatures from −1°C to +5°C on the peninsula; the Drake Passage is windy and cool. Polar day — the sun barely sets.

Route
Start in Buenos Aires, charter flight to Ushuaia, then crossing the Drake Passage to the Antarctic Peninsula. Exact landing points depend on ice conditions and weather.

Visa
No visa required for Russian citizens visiting Argentina (90 days). Passport must be valid for at least 6 months.

Time Zone
Argentina: −6 hours from Moscow. Antarctica: yacht runs on Argentine time.

Important
Medical insurance for EUR 150,000 with emergency evacuation from Antarctica is mandatory. The route may change depending on weather and ice conditions. Strict IAATO rules on board — eco-friendly landings, boot disinfection, safe distances from wildlife.
