Day-by-Day Programme

Arrival in Kuala Lumpur, meet the guide, check-in, rest. Afternoon excursion to the former capital of Selangor state. An old Portuguese fort with friendly silvered langurs — you can hold them on your shoulders and feed them by hand. Evening river cruise to the world's largest colony of synchronously blinking fireflies.

Bird Park — the world's largest covered bird park, 20 acres, over 3,000 birds of 200 species. Parrots, peacocks, flamingos, ibises. Oceanarium with one of the world's longest underwater tunnels — 20,000 marine creatures, from arapaimas to tiger sharks. Sightseeing tour with a Russian-speaking guide: Chinese and Indian quarters, Sultan's Palace, National Mosque.

Batu Caves — the center of Hindu culture in Malaysia. A network of limestone caves with temples inside. The statue of Lord Murugan standing 42.7 meters tall — one of the tallest Hindu statues in the world. Petronas Twin Towers — the symbol of Kuala Lumpur, ascent to the observation deck. Lunch at the Menara telecommunications tower at 276 m with panoramic city views.

Flight to Tawau, transfer to Mabul Island (bus + boat, about 2 hours). Check-in at Sipadan and Mabul Resort 4★. Gear assembly, briefing, optional check dive from shore. Rest before the diving program begins.

Sipadan and Mabul Resort 4★

6 days of diving at Sipadan, Mabul, Kapalai, Siamil, and Mataking islands. 2–3 boat dives per day + complimentary shore dive. Sipadan rises from the very ocean floor — vertical walls covered in corals, turtles, sharks, barracuda schools, bumphead parrotfish, trevallies. The Malaysian government has imposed quotas — trips to Sipadan average once every 2–3 days. The other islands are equally impressive: macro world, seahorses, nudibranchs, mandarin fish. Sipadan is called Turtle Island for good reason — there are so many turtles that after a few days they become part of the scenery.

Check-out, transfer to Tawau airport (2–3 hours). Flight to Kuala Lumpur, overnight flight to Moscow.
