Day-by-Day Programme

Day one — arrival, hotel transfer, rest. The next day — sightseeing tour of Lima: Plaza de Armas with the Government Palace, the Cathedral and the tomb of Francisco Pizarro, the Archbishop's Palace. The medieval San Francisco Monastery. Modern neighborhoods of San Isidro and Miraflores, the Larcomar shopping center overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The Larco Museum — a collection of gold, ceramics, and textiles from ancient civilizations.
Pullman Lima
Early morning departure to Ica. Flight over the mysterious Nazca Lines — a series of drawings of animals, geometric shapes, and birds up to 300 meters across, created around 2,000 years ago. All made with a single continuous line that never crosses itself. Theories suggest a giant astronomical calendar or a map of underground water sources. Huacachina Oasis — free time for lunch. Transfer to Paracas.
Hotel Paracas
Motorboat excursion to the rocky Ballestas Islands: huge flocks of birds, cormorant colonies, sea lions, and rare Humboldt penguins. From the sea — the famous mystical Candelabra drawing, about 100 m long and up to 4 meters deep. Return to Lima, free time.
Pullman Lima
Flight to Cusco. Sightseeing tour: the legendary Temple of the Sun, where the Incas celebrated the winter solstice. Nearby ruins — a ceremonial center, fortresses, Inca baths. The Sacred Valley — the town of Ollantaytambo with polygonal masonry and perfectly cut monoliths. The archaeological complex of Pisac — terraces, fortifications, shrines. Views of the Sacred Valley from the fortress terraces.
Casa Andina Premium Cusco
Train to Aguas Calientes (1.5 hours), then bus to the complex. Machu Picchu — the mysterious Inca city built in the 15th century by ruler Pachacutec. It served as an elite residence, religious and astronomical center. Abandoned after the Spanish conquest, discovered in 1911 by Hiram Bingham. Guided tour of the complex, afternoon return to Cusco.
Casa Andina Premium Cusco
Sightseeing tour of Cusco: the Qorikancha Temple (Temple of the Sun) — where the Incas celebrated the winter solstice. Ruins: Qenqo — a ceremonial center, Puca Pucara — a military outpost, Tambomachay — Inca baths, Sacsayhuaman fortress — a monumental archaeological complex. Free time: strolling through Cusco, souvenirs.
Casa Andina Premium Cusco
Early morning departure to the Rainbow Mountains. In Quechua — Vinicunca, "mountains the color of a rainbow." The colorful layers formed millions of years ago from red sandstone under the influence of minerals. Altitude 5,200 meters, among snow-capped peaks and turquoise lagoons. Views of the glacier on the sacred Inca mountain. A 3-hour hike through streams, past glaciers, alpacas, and llamas.
Casa Andina Premium Cusco
Drive to Lake Titicaca. Along the way: the Church of Andahuaylillas — the 'Sistine Chapel of South America.' Raqchi — a 15th-century Inca religious and administrative center on the Inca Trail. Lunch in Sicuani. La Raya Pass (4,335 m). The pre-Inca cultural center of Pucara. Evening arrival in Puno, check-in and rest.
Casa Andina Premium Puno
Excursion to the floating reed islands of the Uros people on Lake Titicaca. The islands are woven from totora reeds — used to build homes, boats, make souvenirs, and food. Altitude 4,050 m, about 2,000 inhabitants. The community is governed by elders following the Inca moral code: 'do not steal, do not lie, do not be lazy.' No police, prisons, or roads. World-famous for their weaving art.
Casa Andina Premium Puno
Breakfast, check-out. Transfer to Juliaca airport (about one hour). Flight to Lima, then onward to Moscow.
