Day-by-Day Programme

Departure from Moscow to Mauritius.

Arrival in Mauritius. Hotel check-in. Free day for rest and beach enjoyment.

Morning — boat trip in search of sperm whales and other cetaceans (3–3.5 hours). The boat is equipped with a hydrophone. Around 50 individuals permanently reside near the island — encounters are virtually guaranteed. After the whales — free time to relax.

Sightseeing tour of the south coast. Trou aux Cerf dormant volcano crater — panoramic view of the island. Town of Curepipe. Sacred lake Ganga Talao. Black River Gorges with the island's highest peak. Village of Chamarel: rum distillery, 100-metre waterfall, and the unique seven-coloured earth.

Morning — whale-watching trip. Remaining time — beach relaxation.

Sightseeing tour 'The Tea Route.' Bois Cheri tea factory: tasting vanilla black, green jasmine, mint, and coconut teas. Colonial estate St. Aubin: vanilla plantations, anthurium flowers, sugarcane rum tasting. La Vanille park in the tropical jungle: giant Aldabra tortoises, crocodiles, flying foxes, iguanas, lemurs, insectarium. Cape Gris Gris — the southernmost point of Mauritius, ocean without a coral reef.

Casela National Safari Park from early morning. Park walk, breakfast with giraffes, wildlife observation. Jeep safari, walks with wild cats. Return to the hotel.

Morning — another whale-watching trip, it never gets old! Second half of the day — beach relaxation. A luxurious beach with fine golden sand and palm trees along the shoreline.

Free day for beach relaxation.

Hotel check-out, transfer to the airport for departure.
