Day-by-Day Programme

Airport pickup on San Cristobal Island, transfer to the yacht, check-in. After lunch — briefing, safety instructions. First dive at Lobos Island — whitetip reef sharks, moray eels, stingrays, and sea lions.

Arrival at Santa Cruz Island — 3 dives. Sea lions, sea turtles, various species of sharks and eels. In the evening — dive at Baltra Nevada.

4 dives. Wolf Island is one of the reasons the Galapagos ranks among divers' favorite destinations. Scientists have named Wolf and Darwin the most shark-populated place on Earth. Incredible underwater landscapes: grottos, caves, and rock formations. Hammerhead sharks, sea lions, endemic Galapagos sharks. Possible whale shark encounter. The island is home to hundreds of thousands of seabirds — frigatebirds, pelicans, lava gulls, and red-billed tropicbirds.

4 dives. Darwin Island is the warmest diving spot in the Galapagos thanks to the tropical Panama Current. Darwin's Arch is the symbol of Galapagos diving. This is where massive schools of hammerhead sharks are found. Between the arch and the reef you may encounter dolphins and whale sharks.

Continued dives at Wolf and Darwin islands. 3 dives, with an optional night dive.

4 dives. Fernandina Island is the westernmost island of the Galapagos with an active volcano that erupted twice in the past decade. A unique place where you can watch marine iguanas dive and feed underwater. Marine iguanas are found only in the Galapagos — these dragons submerge for up to 10 minutes to graze on algae. Dives at depths no greater than 26 meters.

Cousin's Rock — remnants of an eroded crater protruding from the sea. The main attraction is a school of up to 30 spotted eagle rays. 1–2 dives (weather dependent). In the evening — landing and visit to the Santa Cruz Highlands reserve: the famous Galapagos giant tortoise in its natural habitat. Walk down to Puerto Ayora — the largest town in the Galapagos. Farewell dinner at a restaurant.

After breakfast, disembarkation on San Cristobal Island for the return flight.

A 35.4 m yacht, fully refurbished in 2019 — all systems and interiors are new. Spacious dive deck. The sun deck features a jacuzzi, outdoor dining area, and sun loungers. Spacious salon and dining area with panoramic views. All twin cabins have a private bathroom, individual air conditioning, TV, safe, hairdryer, and windows. Price per 1/2 cabin: from $7,100.

Useful Information

Climate
October marks the beginning of the warm 'garua' season. Air temperature +22–27°C, water +18–23°C. Waters around Wolf and Darwin islands are warmer — up to 25°C thanks to the Panama Current. Moderate to strong currents, visibility 10–20 m. A 7 mm wetsuit is mandatory.

Visa
No visa is required for Ecuador (up to 90 days). Passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry.

National Park
Galapagos National Park entrance fee — $200 cash upon arrival. Ingala TCT transit control card — $20, payable at Quito/Guayaquil airport.

Diving Level
Minimum Advanced Open Water + 50 logged dives. Strong currents, depths up to 30 m, open water. Drift diving experience recommended.

Important
It is prohibited to touch or feed animals, break corals, or remove natural souvenirs. All island visits are only with a licensed national park guide.
