Seatopia is a 24-metre liveaboard launched in 2024 and built for diving from the keel up. Twelve air-conditioned cabins spread over three decks take up to 24 guests. The boat is genuinely new and it shows: fresh teak underfoot, panoramic windows in the cabins, and a tidy dive deck with rinse tanks and charging stations.
A trip runs 4 nights (5 days) and includes up to 15 dives, night dives among them. There are two itineraries and they split the year between them. From mid-October to mid-May the vessel leaves Tap Lamu pier in Phang Nga for the Similan Islands, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai and Richelieu Rock. From May to early October, when the Similan national park is closed, Seatopia departs Phuket for the southern Andaman Sea — Koh Haa, Hin Daeng, Hin Muang and Phi Phi.
The cabins fall into two groups. Six main-deck cabins have a double bed and a private bathroom with a hot shower. Six upper-deck cabins (two with single beds, four with bunks) use shared showers and toilets, of which there are three on board. Worth factoring into your choice: on Seatopia an en-suite bathroom comes only with the main deck.
On board there is a shaded open-air dining area, an air-conditioned saloon with a television, a coffee machine, a sun deck with mats and an observation deck. Wi-Fi is free, and transfers from the airport and from hotels are included in the price.
The dive deck is laid out for groups: tanks with Yoke and DIN valves, DIN adaptors, rinse hoses, a separate tank for camera gear and a shaded kitting-up area. Dives run from inflatable tenders. The guide-to-diver ratio is 1 to 4. The minimum level is Open Water with 10 logged dives; Richelieu Rock, Hin Daeng and Koh Tachai can run strong currents and real experience counts there. Nitrox is available but charged separately.

You pay the rate the operator publishes. The only thing added on top is the actual payment processing cost — no fee of ours.

Correspondence with the operator, holding your places, the contract, confirmation and all paperwork sit on our side. Nothing for you to arrange yourself.
Pay by card
We send you a Stripe invoice — pay by card, in your own currency, from anywhere in the world. The transfer to the operator is handled on our side.

We quote the exact amount when confirming the booking: it covers the operator's rate plus the actual payment processing cost. No hidden charges.

Schedule & Pricing
Similans, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai and Richelieu Rock
The main itinerary of the season — mid-October to mid-May, while the Similan Islands national park is open. Departure from Tap Lamu pier in Phang Nga in the evening, four nights at sea, up to 15 dives. Day one is the granite maze of the Similans: West of Eden and Elephant Head Rock, with a sunset or night dive and a beach landing in Donald Duck Bay in the evening. Day two takes in the northern sites of the archipelago (Christmas Point, North Point), then Koh Bon and Koh Tachai, with a night dive on the Tachai reef. Day three belongs entirely to Richelieu Rock: a limestone pinnacle in open water where whale sharks turn up in spring, and one of the best macro sites in Asia. Day four covers the Koh Tachai pinnacle, the southern bay of Koh Bon with its mantas and the Boonsung wreck on the way home, arriving back around 17:00. Level — Open Water with some experience; currents at Richelieu Rock and Koh Tachai are strong, and Advanced is preferable there.

The off-season itinerary: from May to early October, when the Similan park is closed, the vessel heads south from Phuket. Four nights, up to 15 dives, leaving Chalong pier in the evening. The first full day is the Koh Haa group: a lagoon ringed by islands, the cathedral caverns of Koh Haa Yai and the wall at Koh Haa 1, with a night dive in the evening. Day two is Hin Daeng and Hin Muang, two pinnacles in open water 60 km offshore: soft corals in every shade of red and purple, a wall dropping past 60 metres, and Thailand's best chance of meeting a manta. Day three is Phi Phi, with a landing on Phi Phi Don and dives at Koh Bida Nok. Day four covers Shark Point with its leopard sharks, the King Cruiser ferry wreck and the vertical wall of Koh Doc Mai, then the run back to Phuket. Hin Daeng and Hin Muang are sites for experienced divers: strong currents and depth that falls away fast.
