TL

Spirit of Maldives is a 40-metre vessel built in 2024 — one of the newest boats in the Maldivian dive fleet. Thirteen cabins across three decks take up to 26 guests: seven on the lower deck, two on the main deck and four on the upper deck. Every cabin has its own bathroom with hot water, individually controlled air conditioning, a safe, a wardrobe, a hair dryer and toiletries; on the main and upper decks the portholes give way to full-wall panoramic windows.

The vessel was purpose-built for diving. Dives run from a dedicated 20-metre dhoni, while the yacht keeps a shaded dive deck with rinse hoses and a separate tank for underwater camera gear. Nitrox is included in the price — refills and tanks cost nothing extra — and DIN adaptors are on board. Night dives are included as well.

Up top there is a sun deck with loungers and a jacuzzi, an observation deck and outdoor showers; the main deck has a teak stern with sofas, a bar and an air-conditioned saloon with a library of books and documentaries. There is a camera station with charging points. The galley works à la carte, and the programme includes beach BBQs, marine biology talks and guided walks through local villages. Internet is Starlink, charged separately.

The itineraries cover almost the whole archipelago: a week-long loop of the central atolls, ten-night runs to the mantas of Hanifaru and the northern atolls, equatorial trips to the deep south with a one-way domestic flight, and long expeditions to Hanimaadhoo in the far north.

No mark-up

You pay the rate the operator publishes. The only thing added on top is the actual payment processing cost — no fee of ours.

We run the booking

Correspondence with the operator, holding your places, the contract, confirmation and all paperwork sit on our side. Nothing for you to arrange yourself.

Pay by card

We send you a Stripe invoice — pay by card, in your own currency, from anywhere in the world. The transfer to the operator is handled on our side.

Support in your language

We help you pick the cabin and dates, answer questions on the route and gear, and stay reachable until you are home — in English, in your time zone.

We quote the exact amount when confirming the booking: it covers the operator's rate plus the actual payment processing cost. No hidden charges.

Schedule & Pricing

Heart of the Maldives — Central Atolls (Male – Male)

The classic week-long loop of the central atolls out of Male. North and South Male, Ari and Vaavu: manta cleaning stations, current-swept channels with schools of grey reef sharks, the night ray show and night dives included in the price. Suits experienced divers and first-time liveaboard guests alike.

Heart of the Maldives — Extended Route (Male – Male)

The same central atoll loop stretched over ten nights. The extra time allows a deeper push into Ari and Vaavu, more distant sites and a second run at the best spots when the current is right.

January 2027

Wonders of the Northern Atolls (Male – Male)

A ten-night run north through Baa, Raa and Lhaviyani. The main target is the UNESCO biosphere reserve and Hanifaru Bay, where plankton season draws in dozens of mantas and whale sharks. Coral gardens and thilas of the northern atolls along the way.

September 2027

Equatorial Maldives (Male – Male)

A long crossing past the equator and back: from the central atolls to the deep south, to the channels of Huvadhoo and Addu. Hammerheads, grey reef sharks, mantas and the wreck of the tanker British Loyalty. Currents are strong — drift diving experience required.

April 2027

Manta Magic Expedition (Male – Male)

A separate ten-night departure built around mantas: the Hanifaru reserve in Baa Atoll and the cleaning stations of the central atolls. The best window is the south-west monsoon, when plankton pulls the rays into the bay by the dozen.

August 2026
1 departure

Deep South Beyond the Equator (Male – Kooddoo – Gan)

The winter and spring block of southern departures. The Male – Kooddoo and Kooddoo – Male crossings pass seven atolls in a row, while the shorter Kooddoo – Gan and Gan – Kooddoo legs are given over entirely to the equatorial shark channels. One-way domestic flight required.

March 2027

Far North (Male – Hanimaadhoo)

The longest programme on the boat — eleven to twelve nights up to the northern tip of the archipelago. Haa Alif and Haa Dhaalu are barely visited by other vessels: untouched reefs, big pelagics and dive sites that do not yet have names. One-way domestic flight required.
