Princess Maani is a 42-metre Maldivian liveaboard built in 2024 — one of the newest dive vessels in the country. Fourteen cabins across three decks take up to 28 guests, looked after by 17 crew and 5 dive guides. Every cabin has air conditioning, an en-suite bathroom with a warm shower, a personal safe and a generous wardrobe.
Cabins come in three categories. Six Superior cabins on the lower deck have an opening window and can be set up as double, twin or single; cabin 101 doubles as a family room with the option of a third bed, while 103 and 104 are twin-only. Four Deluxe I cabins on the main deck are the most spacious on board, on the same level as the restaurant, with three large windows and forward views. Four Deluxe II cabins on the upper deck have exceptionally large picture windows and elevated sea views. All Deluxe cabins have separable king-size beds.
On board there are two jacuzzis on the upper decks, sun and observation decks with loungers and soft seating, a cocktail bar, an air-conditioned saloon, massage and daily housekeeping. Kayaks and stand-up paddleboards are available. A European chef runs the galley: buffet service indoors and al fresco, vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options, and a barbecue on a deserted island. Nitrox on board is free.
Diving runs from a 14-metre dhoni that travels alongside the yacht — all the gear stays there, keeping the main decks clear. The vessel runs four itineraries: the central atolls, a manta-focused route, the north, and an expedition to the far south. The crew speaks English and Italian.

Best of Central Atolls (Male — Male)
The vessel's main route, running all year. Out of Male through North and South Male, Vaavu and Ari: manta cleaning stations, night dives with rays, current-swept channels where grey reef sharks gather, and the south of Ari for whale sharks. Sandbank picnics and a barbecue on a deserted island are part of the week.

A route built around mantas: Rasdhoo, Ari and Hanifaru Bay in the UNESCO biosphere reserve of Baa. In plankton season dozens of mantas and whale sharks move into Hanifaru, while the cleaning stations of Ari keep mantas circling over the reef almost non-stop.

Eleven nights north through Lhaviyani, Noonu, Raa and Baa. Remote atolls that few vessels reach: pristine reefs, pelagic-rich thilas and historic wrecks. A route for divers who already know the central atolls.

1 departureWild Deep South (Addu — Addu)
An expedition below the equator out of Addu — Fuvahmulah, Huvadhoo and the neighbouring atolls. Fuvahmulah is known for tiger sharks year-round, along with hammerheads and mantas, and the British Loyalty wreck lies in Addu. Currents are strong and drift experience is required. The route starts and ends in Gan, reached by domestic flight.

A crossing of the whole country in eleven nights: Addu, Fuvahmulah, Huvadhoo, Laamu, Thaa, Meemu, Vattaru, Felidhoo, South Male and North Male. The vessel's richest itinerary — from the tiger sharks of the equator to the manta cleaning stations of the central atolls. One end is in Gan, the other in Male, with a domestic flight in between.
