Ocean Lovers is a 45-metre liveaboard built in 2023 and the only vessel run by the Hurghada operator Sea Breeze. Five decks hold sixteen guest cabins for 32 people. In summer and early winter she sails from New Marina in Hurghada; in autumn and spring she works the south out of Port Ghalib. There is a single trip length — seven nights, boarding from 16:00, disembarkation by 10:00.
Cabins are spread over three decks. Six twin cabins sit on the lower deck with portholes, four more twins on the sun deck with full-width windows. Six cabins have a double bed: two suites on the sun deck, two panorama suites forward on the sun deck with windows on three sides, and two on the upper deck. Every cabin has air conditioning with its own control, an en-suite with a shower, a safe, a hairdryer and a TV.
The dive deck occupies the aft main deck: individual kit stations, tank racks, rinse tanks and freshwater showers, plus a dedicated bank of sockets for charging torches and cameras. Twelve-litre tanks with DIN/INT valves, weights and belt are included, and nitrox at 28–32% is free for certified divers. Two speedboats and a zodiac run divers out to the offshore marks. A standard day is three to four dives, two or three on the first and last day; one guide takes no more than eight divers and unguided diving is not allowed.
The main deck has a saloon with deep sofas and a television, with the buffet restaurant behind it. Outside on the sun deck there is a covered lounge with a corner sofa, a bar, a hammock and bean bags; the top deck carries two jacuzzis looking out over the sea. Drinking water, tea, coffee and soft drinks are included; local alcohol is sold on board.
Itineraries run from the gentle northern classics with the Thistlegorm and Tiran to the deep south with St John’s and the Elba reefs. Sea Breeze’s formal minimum is low — Open Water and 10 logged dives — but currents at the Brothers, Daedalus and Elphinstone are serious, and the guide may keep an inexperienced diver out of a particular site.

Diving on board
Sea Breeze's formal minimum is an Open Water Diver certification and 10 logged dives — noticeably softer than most Egyptian operators, who ask for Advanced Open Water and 50 dives on the Brothers, Daedalus and Elphinstone. Certification card and logbook are checked at boarding. Beginners are accepted, but the cruise director may keep a diver out of a particular site if conditions are beyond them. Decompression diving is not permitted, solo diving is prohibited, and rebreathers and technical gear are not supported. Your own SMB, a dive computer or dive watch, and a torch for night dives are mandatory. Gloves are banned under Egyptian rules. Dive insurance is mandatory and must be shown at check-in; a medical self-declaration is also mandatory, and a 'fit to dive' certificate in English no older than one year is required if you answer yes to any question. Allow 24 hours between the last dive and your flight.
Food and drink
Local alcoholic drinks are sold on board. Tell the operator about special dietary needs in advance — ready-made gluten-free and lactose-free products are hard to find in Egypt.

North Reefs, Wrecks, Ras Mohamed, Tiran & Brothers
The vessel’s core itinerary and the most frequent in the schedule. Departing from New Marina in Hurghada: the Abu Nuhas wrecks — Giannis D, Carnatic, Chrisoula K and Kimon M — Ras Mohamed National Park with Shark and Yolanda, the Straits of Tiran with Jackson, Thomas, Woodhouse and Gordon reefs, two or three dives on the Thistlegorm, and mid-week a crossing to the Brothers: Big and Little Brother with the Aida II and Numidia wrecks, walls and a gorgonian forest. Conditions at the Brothers are noticeably more demanding than on the northern reefs.

The three great offshore marks of the Red Sea in one week. A check dive off Hurghada, the Salem Express, then Big and Little Brother with the Aida II and Numidia wrecks, two days at Daedalus with its lighthouse and hammerheads, and Elphinstone’s north and south plateaux on the way back. Grey reef, oceanic whitetip and thresher sharks are regular. Strong currents and deep profiles — a route for confident divers.
