Galaxy Diver II is a 29-metre yacht operated by the Ecuadorian company Galaxy Diving in the Galapagos. Eight cabins across three decks take just 16 guests, and the crew is nearly as large as the passenger list — close to a one-to-one ratio. After a full 2023 refit the interiors were rebuilt from scratch: white marble, pale wood, a lounge with sofas running the length of the saloon, a bar with a coffee machine and a large television.
The vessel was built for diving. A spacious teak-decked dive platform with individual gear stations, tank racks, rinse tanks, DIN adaptors, a shaded set-up area, a separate rinse for underwater cameras and charging stations for lights and housings. Nitrox is free for certified divers. Dives are run from inflatable pangas: they carry you to the site while your gear stays aboard the yacht.
The reason to come to the Galapagos is the northern islands of Wolf and Darwin. Schooling hammerheads hold there, along with Galapagos and silky sharks, and from June to November whale sharks pass by Darwin. On the way there are Punta Carrion, Cousin Rock, Shark Bay and El Arenal with marine iguanas, turtles, rays and sea lions. The water is cold and the currents strong: drift-diving experience, Advanced Open Water and at least 50 logged dives are required.
Beyond diving, Galaxy Diver II also runs naturalist itineraries with land excursions led by a licensed national park guide: the lava fields of Sullivan Bay, the red beach of Rabida, the marine iguana colony at Punta Espinoza, the palo santo forest at Tagus Cove, flamingos in the Wetlands and the historic mail barrel at Post Office Bay. Kayaks and paddle boards are on board, and snorkelling gear is provided for non-divers.

You pay the rate the operator publishes. The only thing added on top is the actual payment processing cost — no fee of ours.

Correspondence with the operator, holding your places, the contract, confirmation and all paperwork sit on our side. Nothing for you to arrange yourself.
Pay by card
We send you a Stripe invoice — pay by card, in your own currency, from anywhere in the world. The transfer to the operator is handled on our side.

Diving itinerary (Baltra — Santa Cruz)
The yacht's only diving itinerary, 8 days / 7 nights, year round. It starts on Baltra and ends on Santa Cruz. The route is fixed by the national park and includes the northern islands of Wolf and Darwin — the reason divers come to the Galapagos: schooling hammerheads, Galapagos and silky sharks, and whale sharks off Darwin from June to November. Along the way are Punta Carrion, Cousin Rock, Shark Bay and El Arenal with marine iguanas, turtles, rays and sea lions.
