TL

Galapagos Aggressor III is a 30-metre Aggressor Fleet yacht working the Galapagos year-round. Eight cabins on two decks take up to 16 guests. The vessel was built for diving: a stable hull for the long crossing to the northern islands, a large dive deck, and inflatable tenders that carry every dive.

There is one itinerary and it is fixed by the national park: eight days, seven nights, starting and finishing at Baltra. The main target is Wolf and Darwin — the yacht makes an overnight crossing north and stays there for several days. That is where the schooling hammerheads, whale sharks, sea lions, turtles and mola mola are. Along the way it calls at Punta Carrion, Cabo Douglas, Punta Vicente Roca and Cousins Rock. Up to four dives a day.

The dive deck has individual stations and personal lockers, a swim platform, air and nitrox fill stations, rinse tanks, a three-tier camera table with low-pressure hoses, and two warm freshwater showers.

Inside there is a spacious wood-panelled salon and dining area serving American and local cuisine. Breakfast and lunch are buffet-style, dinner is chef-prepared and plated. Beer and wine with dinner are included. The top deck holds a shaded solarium with a hot tub, chaise lounges, deck chairs, a bar and a grill.

Every cabin has an en-suite bathroom, individually controlled air conditioning, a TV with a media player and a hairdryer. The crew speaks English.

Schedule & Pricing

Galapagos Islands with Wolf and Darwin (Baltra — Baltra)

The yacht's only itinerary, running year-round — Galapagos routes are fixed by the national park. Eight days and seven nights from Baltra to Baltra. Warm-up dives at Punta Carrion and Cousins Rock, then an overnight crossing north to Wolf and Darwin, which is what divers come here for: schooling hammerheads, whale sharks in season, Galapagos sharks, sea lions and turtles. On the way back — Cabo Douglas off Fernandina with marine iguanas and flightless cormorants, and Punta Vicente Roca off Isabela, where mola mola show up. Currents are strong and the water is cool — drift diving experience and a 7 mm wetsuit are needed.
