Aqua is a 26-metre motor yacht working the Galapagos year-round. She was built in 1998 and fully refitted in 2023. Nine cabins across three decks take a maximum of 16 guests, with almost as many crew on board, so the yacht never feels crowded.
She is set up specifically for diving: a roomy dive deck with a shaded kitting-up area, rinse hoses, DIN adaptors, a separate rinse tank for underwater cameras, sidemount support and nitrox for a surcharge. Dives run from two Caribe tenders with Yamaha outboards, so gear stays in the boat instead of being hauled around the deck. Every diver is issued a personal marine rescue GPS, a storm whistle, a dive beacon and a surface marker buoy — currents at Wolf and Darwin are strong and you can surface a long way from the tender.
All cabins have a private bathroom with a hot shower and individually controlled air conditioning. Lower deck cabins have portholes; main and upper deck cabins have picture windows with sea views. Shared spaces include an air-conditioned saloon with a TV and library, a dining room on the main deck, a shaded upper-deck lounge with a bar, and an open sun deck with loungers. The galley serves Ecuadorian and international food, buffet style.
One caveat: this route is for experienced divers — a minimum of 50 logged dives. Conditions at the northern islands are serious: cold water, strong currents and blue-water descents.

You pay the rate the operator publishes. The only thing added on top is the actual payment processing cost — no fee of ours.

Itinerary A — Wolf and Darwin (Baltra — Baltra)
Aqua's only diving programme and the Galapagos classic: eight days and seven nights, out of Baltra and back. The National Park fixes the route and it cannot be changed. The first dives are check-out dives at the central islands; then an overnight crossing north to Wolf and Darwin. Those two are why people come: walls of scalloped hammerheads, Galapagos sharks, and whale sharks from June to November. On the way back, the western side of the archipelago — Fernandina and Isabela: marine iguanas grazing underwater, Galapagos penguins, flightless cormorants and mola mola at the cleaning stations. Final dives at Cousin's Rock with sea lions and rays. The water is cold, the currents are strong, and you need drift diving experience and at least 50 logged dives.
