Eriny is a 33-metre yacht built in 2023, the newest vessel in the Bella Liveaboards fleet out of Sharm El Sheikh. Ten cabins across three decks take up to 20 guests, and every trip starts and ends in Sharm El Sheikh at Landmark Marina.
The cabins are spread over the decks: two doubles with a queen bed and a panoramic window on the upper deck, two twins with a sea view on the main deck, and six on the lower deck — four twins and two with bunk beds. Every cabin has individually controlled air conditioning and its own bathroom with a shower cubicle; shower and deck towels, a bathrobe and shower gel are provided. There are no hairdryers on board, and shampoo and conditioner are worth bringing yourself.
The dive deck takes up the whole aft section of the main deck: individual gear stations, tank racks, fresh-water showers and a large table for setting up kit. Diving is run from two tenders, which cuts the run to the outer points of Tiran and Ras Mohammed and means entries do not depend on where the yacht is moored. A standard day is three dives plus a night dive, weather, mooring and local rules permitting. One guide works with no more than eight divers, and unguided diving is not allowed.
Up top there is a sun deck with a circular sofa around a central table and an open lounge area with soft seating; the salon has a large seating area with panoramic windows, and the restaurant is a separate room with tables for six. Meals are buffet style, the cooking is international and Egyptian, and soft drinks, tea and coffee are included. The operator does not sell alcohol on board — guests who want it bring their own.
The routes are the classic northern Sinai: Ras Mohammed, the Straits of Tiran, the Thistlegorm, the Dunraven and Shag Rock with the Kingston, while the Wrecks & Reefs route adds the Abu Nuhas ship graveyard with the Giannis D, Carnatic, Kimon M and Chrisoula K. The formal minimum is Open Water, but the operator recommends Advanced Open Water and at least 20 logged dives.

You pay the rate the operator publishes. The only thing added on top is the actual payment processing cost — no fee of ours.

Diving on board
The operator's minimum qualification is Open Water Diver (or equivalent from a recognised agency); certification and logbook are checked on board. The operator recommends Advanced Open Water and at least 20 logged dives, above all on routes with deeper wrecks and current. Under the rules of the Egyptian Chamber of Diving and Watersports (CDWS) recreational depth is limited by the diver's certification and in any case to 40 metres; most dives on Bella routes run between 18 and 30 metres. Your own SMB is mandatory. Dive insurance covering evacuation and hyperbaric treatment is mandatory, and the policy must be submitted at least 7 days before departure.
Food and drinks
The operator neither sells nor buys alcohol — guests who want it bring their own, and diving after drinking is not permitted. Tell the crew about dietary requirements (allergies, religious restrictions, gluten-free) when booking.

Sinai Classic — Ras Mohammed, Tiran and the Thistlegorm
Bella's signature route and Eriny's mainstay. Departing Sharm El Sheikh, a check dive on a local reef (Temple, Ras Katy or Ras Umm Sid), then the Straits of Tiran with its four reefs — Jackson, Thomas, Woodhouse and Gordon. Next, Ras Mohammed National Park: Shark & Yolanda, Shark Observatory, Jackfish Alley, Ras Zatar and Anemone City. A whole day goes to the wrecks — the Dunraven and two dives on the Thistlegorm — then Shag Rock with the Kingston and an overnight at Shaab Ali, where bottlenose dolphins often show up. On the way back, drift dives at Sha'ab Mahmoud through the Big and Small Cracks. Night dives run most evenings when the mooring and the rules allow.

The same week weighted towards wrecks. After a check dive off Sharm El Sheikh the yacht heads for Ras Mohammed, then two dives on the Thistlegorm and a day at Abu Nuhas — the ship graveyard with the Giannis D, Carnatic, Chrisoula K and Kimon M. These wrecks lie shallow and well lit, which photographers love. Then Shag Rock with the Kingston and the coral pinnacles of Sha'ab Mahmoud before the run back to port. Bottlenose dolphins are often met at Shaab Ali.
