Day-by-Day Programme

We arrive in Victoria Falls, where we are met at the airport and transferred to the hotel. The town sits on the banks of the Zambezi River and is the gateway to one of the planet's most famous natural wonders — Victoria Falls. In the evening, those who wish can welcome the New Year at one of the town's finest restaurants.
Insika Lodge or similar
We explore Victoria Falls — a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the largest waterfalls on the planet. With a guide we visit the best viewpoints on the Zimbabwe side, offering the most striking views of the Zambezi cascades. We then cross the border into Zambia and continue exploring the falls from the other side. This combination reveals the full scale of the natural complex from different angles.
Insika Lodge or similar
In the morning we set off for Botswana. Chobe National Park is considered one of Africa's best places for wildlife viewing — home to the largest elephant population on the continent. Two safaris await us during the day. First we head deep into the park in open safari vehicles, then continue exploring the Chobe ecosystem on a river safari along the river of the same name. Combining land and water routes greatly increases the chances of seeing animals in their natural habitat. By evening we return to Zimbabwe.
Insika Lodge or similar
After flying to Cape Town we head to Franschhoek — one of South Africa's most prestigious wine regions. Founded by French Huguenots in the 17th century, today Franschhoek is known for its wine estates, fine dining and scenic landscapes of vineyards set against mountain ranges. After checking in, we visit a local brewery and enjoy a traditional South African braai dinner.
Franschhoek Hotel or similar
We continue exploring the wine regions of the Cape. In the morning we visit Stellenbosch — the second-oldest town in South Africa and a centre of local winemaking, whose historic core preserves its distinctive Cape Dutch architecture. Next is the Delaire Graff Estate on one of the region's most scenic passes, then Boschendal — one of South Africa's oldest estates with three centuries of history. The day ends at La Motte Wine Estate, known for its premium wines and close ties to the cultural heritage of Franschhoek.
Franschhoek Hotel or similar
We move on to Cape Town. On a city tour we get to know the historic centre, see colonial buildings, visit the colourful Bo-Kaap district and stroll along the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. The highlight of the day is the ascent of Table Mountain, the natural symbol of Cape Town and one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature. From the viewpoints, panoramas open over the city, the Atlantic Ocean and the Twelve Apostles range.
Canopy by Hilton or similar
We travel along the coast of the Cape Peninsula. The route follows Chapman's Peak Drive — one of the most famous coastal roads in the world. We take a boat trip to Seal Island, visit the colony of African penguins on Boulders Beach and continue to the Cape Point reserve. The final point of the route is the Cape of Good Hope, which for centuries played an important role in the history of world navigation.
Canopy by Hilton or similar
A day to relax and explore the city on your own. You can spend time on Cape Town's beaches, shopping, strolling along the waterfront, or on optional excursions — boat cruises and helicopter flights over the coast. In the evening we gather for a farewell dinner at the GOLD restaurant — one of South Africa's most famous culinary venues. Its concept blends the cuisines of different African regions with live music and the cultural traditions of the continent.
Canopy by Hilton or similar
After breakfast and check-out, we transfer to Cape Town airport for the flight home.

Useful Information

map[text:When we travel. Late December to early January is high summer in Southern Africa. Cape Town is dry and sunny, +25…+28 °C, ideal for the city, the coast and the wineries. Around Victoria Falls and Chobe it is hot and humid, with the rainy season beginning — the bush turns green and the falls gather strength.

Countries on the route. Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana and South Africa. To visit the falls area you'll need a KAZA visa ($50), valid for Zimbabwe and Zambia and issued on arrival.

Currency. It's convenient to carry US dollars in cash. Bank cards are widely accepted in South Africa, where the local currency is the South African rand.

Health. The Victoria Falls and Chobe area is a malaria zone — consult your doctor about prophylaxis in advance. title:Useful information about the region]
