2 room types
Little Cayman Beach Resort sits on a white sand beach in Blossom Village — the first part of the island people came back to, in 1833. The island itself is tiny: about a hundred and fifty permanent residents, eighty miles northeast of Grand Cayman.
The resort was completed in 1993 by the Tibbetts family, a Caymanian line whose ancestors were among the islands’ first settlers. Reef Divers, the resort’s own valet dive operation, started at the same time.
The building is two storeys, with forty air-conditioned rooms. There are two categories — ocean front and pool view — each with either two double beds or one king. No more than four guests to a room.
Reef Divers takes the work out of diving. Your gear is carried, rinsed, dried and set up for you; on the boat it is handed to you in your seat, so you never have to walk to the stern with a tank on your back. At the top of the dock there are separate rinse tanks for camera gear, wetsuits and general equipment, plus a drying room.
Cayman diving is mostly current-free. Every site is moored, and the dive master briefs the location and draws a map of the tour; buddy teams that stay within the agreed limits are free to follow the guide or go their own way. Morning two-tank briefings start at 7:45, afternoon one-tank briefings at 13:45.
Bloody Bay Wall is what people come for: sheer drop-offs falling away to unseen depths, healthy reef, swim-throughs and all but unlimited visibility.
Meals are served in the Birds of Paradise dining room, recently remodelled and given a screened pavilion. By the pool, Beach Nuts bar does light food and evening drinks, with bingo, trivia and Friday karaoke.
No markup
You pay exactly the rate the resort publishes. On top of that, only the actual bank costs of currency conversion and the international transfer — no commission of ours.

Correspondence with the resort, holding the room, the contract, booking confirmation and all paperwork are on our side. There is nothing for you to arrange yourself.

We accept payment by card through Stripe and issue an invoice. The transfer to the resort is our job — you do not have to find a way to pay abroad.

At the resort
Diving
Four boats of the Reef Divers fleet are home-ported at Little Cayman: Island Sister, Paradise Diver, Reef Fantasea and Holiday Diver II. All were custom built by Newton Boats in Louisiana — 42 to 46 feet long, 16 feet wide, up to twenty divers and two crew. On board: shade, a padded camera table, tank racks, a hang line with a regulator for safety stops, a restroom and freshwater shower, oxygen, an AED and a diver recall system. The standard day profile is a first dive to 110 feet for 50 minutes and the rest to 60 feet for an hour; a night dive comes fourth, subject to numbers and weather. Your own dive computer is required — package guests are given one free. Diver paperwork is completed online, with links sent thirty days before arrival; the medical form for any in-water course has to be brought on paper.
Food
Packages come with either breakfast and dinner, or breakfast, lunch and dinner; the same meals can also be bought individually. Breakfast runs 6:45–8:00, lunch 12:30–14:00, dinner 18:30–20:00. Breakfast is breads and pastries, fruit, cereal, yogurt, hot entrées and eggs to order; lunch is the soup and salad of the day, meats, cheeses, hot entrées and light desserts. The indoor bar is generally open during dinner hours, while Beach Nuts runs through the day and evening. Special dietary needs require at least thirty days' notice.
Things to do
Booby Pond lies just across the road from the resort and is home to twenty thousand red-footed boobies; viewing platforms around the island cover herons, waders and frigate birds. Nature Spa is open six days a week, 10:00–19:00, closed Saturday; bookings are made at the front desk or in advance by email, and half the price is charged for a cancellation inside 24 hours. The Photo Center is powered by Backscatter, which holds its Digital Shootout here in both 2026 and 2027.

Gear is included only for Discover Scuba Diving, Bubblemaker, the full Open Water course and referrals; on every other course participants bring their own or rent. Entry-level training ratios are 1:2 instructor to student, and 1:1 for non-certified participants under sixteen. PADI eLearning is paid separately on the PADI website.

When to go
The resort is open year-round. Prices split into two periods: high from 10 January to 31 July and low from 1 August to 9 January. Packages run seven nights. A $200 per person deposit is required, with the balance due thirty days before arrival; cancellations thirty or more days out are refunded in full, 15–29 days out earn a future credit, and inside fourteen days there is no refund. Unused dives are not refunded, but the dive shop issues a gift certificate for dives cancelled by weather.
Getting there
The address is 1128 Guy Banks Road, Little Cayman, KY3-2501.
Cayman Airways flies in from Grand Cayman: two Twin Otter aircraft serve Little Cayman and Cayman Brac. Allow at least sixty minutes to connect and check in. The Twin Otter baggage allowance is 55 lb per person plus one 15 lb carry-on, with excess charged at 50 cents a pound.
Flights operate during daylight hours only.
Edward Bodden Airfield (LYB) has no terminal of its own — it shares a building with the local fire station, with a small air-conditioned waiting area and a restroom inside. The resort is a two-minute drive away and runs its own bus: a representative meets you off the plane and drives you in, if transfers are part of your package.
The resort asks you to reconfirm flight numbers and times at final payment, so the front desk can have your room ready when you arrive.
