Philippines Aggressor (formerly M/V Albacora Intrepid) is a 41-metre steel yacht of the Aggressor fleet, running in the Philippines since 2021. Twelve cabins across three decks take up to 24 guests, looked after by a crew of 15. Not to be confused with her sister ship Philippines Aggressor II — they are different vessels with separate schedules.
She was built around diving: a spacious dive deck where every guest gets an assigned seat and a storage bin, rinse hoses, DIN adaptors and a separate camera room with a charging station. Diving is done from a tender, nitrox is available for an extra fee, and night dives are part of every itinerary except Tubbataha, where the park does not allow them.
Above deck there is an air-conditioned indoor saloon with sofas and a TV, a dining area with panoramic windows, a bar and a grill. The sun deck holds a jacuzzi, sun loungers and shaded seating. Breakfast is cooked to order, lunch is served buffet-style and dinner is plated; beer and wine are included.
Cabins have individual climate control, an en-suite bathroom with shower, a safe, a hair dryer, a monitor with a media player and 220 V sockets. Four balcony suites sit on the upper deck with their own balcony and a panoramic window, four deluxe cabins are on the main deck and four more on the lower deck.
The yacht runs four families of itineraries: the Visayas and Cebu all year round, Tubbataha Reefs National Park from March to early July, the Coron wrecks in November and December, and the long Coron — Batangas crossing in January and February.

You pay the rate the operator publishes. The only thing added on top is the actual payment processing cost — no fee of ours.

Diving on board
Recreational, no-decompression diving only. Personal gear is mandatory: mask, fins, BCD, regulator with an alternate air source and pressure gauge, dive computer, SMB with a reel and a wetsuit — all of it can also be rented on board. Tanks, weights and weight belts are provided. Underwater scooters are prohibited and drones require a permit. The crew speaks English.
Food and drinks
Tell the office about dietary requirements — allergies and religious restrictions — when booking. Guests bring their own spirits from duty free. Dinner on the second-to-last evening is ashore and is not included in the price.

Visayas and Cebu (Cebu — Cebu)
The year-round itinerary out of Cebu. The route is chosen once guests are aboard, based on weather and visibility: Malapascua with thresher sharks at dawn, Gato with whitetip reef sharks, Capitancillo, Anda, Pamilacan, Balicasag, Cabilao, Moalboal with its sardine ball, Oslob and Sumilon, Apo Island, black-sand Dauin and Siquijor. Soft-coral walls, schooling jacks, turtles and whale sharks sit alongside the macro: ghost pipefish, waspfish and nudibranchs. Offered as 7 and 10 nights.

In November and December the yacht turns to wreck diving in Coron Bay. Japanese ships sunk in 1944 lie here: Okikawa Maru, Akitsushima, Irako, Kogyo Maru, Olympia Maru and the Tangat Gunboat. Divers penetrate the holds and engine rooms of hulls now covered in coral. The itinerary also takes in Apo Reef — the largest coral reef in the Philippines, with Barracuda Point and Shark Ridge — the Busuanga reefs and Calumbuyan Island. A free morning goes to Kayangan Lake or the Maquinit hot springs. All diving is from the tender. Seven nights.

The long January and February crossing, run in both directions: Coron to Batangas and back. It starts on the Coron wrecks, continues to Apo Reef and the protected waters around Malajon and Dimipac islands where dugongs are seen, and finishes at Verde Island — the 'centre of the centre of marine biodiversity' — with strong currents and schooling pelagics. The last stop is Anilao, the birthplace of Philippine diving and the country's best macro photography ground. Ten nights, all diving from the tender.

3 departuresTubbataha (Puerto Princesa — Puerto Princesa)
The seasonal itinerary from March to early July — the only window when Tubbataha Reef in the Sulu Sea is open. The marine park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site: the North and South atolls plus Jessie Beazley Reef. The northern tip of the North Atoll brings blacktip, whitetip, grey reef and silky sharks, turtles and rays; the southern tip holds a wall with the Malayan Wreck and schools of barracuda and jacks; the northern tip of the South Atoll is known for hammerheads. The crossing from port takes 12–15 hours, then 3–4 dives a day, up to 20 per trip. The park does not permit night diving.

The repositioning charter between seasons, when the yacht moves her home port between Puerto Princesa and Cebu. One trip covers both regions: the Tubbataha atolls in the Sulu Sea and the southern Visayas — Apo Island, Bohol, Balicasag — plus stops along the way that no other itinerary visits. Turtles, reef sharks and schooling jacks share the trip with macro life: nudibranchs, ghost pipefish, seahorses and frogfish. Ten or eleven nights, offered once or twice a year.
