Tiger Beach — tiger shark diving in the Bahamas

Tiger Beach is located in the remote waters of the western part of Grand Bahama Island and is considered one of the best places on the planet for shark diving. On the sandy bottom at shallow depth, divers encounter Caribbean reef, lemon, and tiger sharks. The area is known for crystal visibility and calm conditions. The route departs from Old Bahama Bay port or Freeport and offers up to five dives daily at rarely visited locations. Additional dives at the Bimini Islands — the westernmost islands of the Bahamas archipelago, famous for their reefs and marine fauna — are possible.
