A two-week expedition departing from Egyptian Marsa Alam, covering the main reef systems and wrecks of Sudan. The route passes through vertical reef walls, coral gardens, and gorgonian forests, with opportunities to encounter large marine inhabitants — sharks and rays.
The program begins with Egyptian dive sites St. Johns and Fury Shoals, then — Shalalat reefs and Umbria, Sanganeb National Park, Sha’ab Rumi with the Precontinent-2 underwater station, Blue Belt/Toyota wreck, Angarosh, Abington, Merlo with the wreck of Freedom, and White Rock reefs. In October, manta encounter probability is especially high at Mesharifa.
