A classic route through the northern Sudanese Red Sea — an ideal choice for a first acquaintance with diving in Sudan. The program covers 90 nautical miles north of Port Sudan and includes the country’s most iconic dive sites: the sunken vessel Umbria, Sanganeb National Marine Park with 23 dive sites, the legendary Sha’ab Rumi — site of Cousteau’s underwater station, and Angarosh reef, known for schools of grey reef sharks.
The route suits divers of various levels. The program provides 21–25 dives per expedition. In October and early November, manta encounters are possible. An extended “Land and Sea” version with shore excursions to historic coastal sites is available.
