1 / 1
A short but packed route through the central atolls — from Male to Vaavu (Felidhu). The main focus is world-class channel diving. Vaavu is considered one of the best atolls in the Maldives for drift dives in channels with strong currents, where grey reef sharks, trevallies, and eagle rays hold position in the flow.
Key sites on the route include Fish Head and Miyaru Faru at North Male, Kandooma Thila and Guraidhoo Kandu at South Male, and the route’s jewel — Fotteyo Kandu at Vaavu, ranked among the top ten dive sites in the Maldives. A channel about 50 meters wide with overhangs covered in yellow soft corals, where grey reef sharks patrol in the blue water. A compact route suitable for a week-long safari.
