Male / Thaa

The “Male / Thaa” route covers the central and southern areas of the Maldivian archipelago. The safari runs from Male to Thaa Atoll and back, with dives at five atolls: Thaa, Meemu, Felidhu (Vaavu), Ari, and North Male.

Thaa Atoll is one of the least visited places in the Maldives, with pristine channels and reefs. Thaa’s channels are known for encounters with grey reef sharks, eagle rays, and large schools of fish. Meemu Atoll offers manta stations and channels with currents. Felidhu (Vaavu) provides world-class channel diving with Fotteyo Kandu and Miyaru Kandu. The route concludes at North Male.
