The “Male / Haa Alifu (North)” route is an extended safari from the Maldives capital to the northernmost atoll Haa Alifu. Along the way, the yacht passes through Rasdhoo, Baa (including Hanifaru — snorkeling with mantas and whale sharks), Lhaviyani, Noonu, and Shaviyani.
The starting point is Rasfari on North Male. The key highlight of the route is Hanifaru Bay at Baa Atoll, where dozens of manta rays congregate during monsoon season and whale sharks arrive. Then the route heads north through the less visited atolls of Lhaviyani, Noonu, and Shaviyani to the far north — Haa Alifu, where reefs are virtually unexplored.
