1 / 1
An expedition route from Male to the southern atoll Gaafu Dhaalu — one of the longest safaris in the Maldives, crossing eight atolls. The yacht passes through South Male, Vaavu (Felidhu), Meemu, Thaa, Laamu, Gaafu Alifu, and finishes at Gaafu Dhaalu. The route operates in both directions.
As the journey progresses south, the diving changes character: from classic thilas and kandus of the central atolls to a wilder and more pristine underwater world in the south. Vaavu offers the famous Fotteyo Kandu, Meemu has rarely visited reefs, and Gaafu has channels of equatorial atolls with powerful currents and pelagic life. The route suits experienced divers ready for an extended crossing and diverse conditions.
