Male / Ari Atoll / Huvadhoo

The “Male / Ari Atoll / Huvadhoo” route leads from Male to the far south to Huvadhoo Atoll — one of the world’s largest atolls. Along the way, the yacht visits Ari, Vaavu, Meemu, Thaa, and Laamu Atolls. 3 dives per day weather permitting.

South Ari — whale shark and manta ray search. Vaavu Atoll — night dives with nurse sharks. Meemu — channels with mantas. Thaa — hammerhead sharks and whale sharks. Laamu — drift dives with large schools of fish. Huvadhoo Atoll — channels with grey reef sharks, eagle rays, and possibly tiger sharks. The route is suitable only for experienced divers.
