The “Male / Ari / Baa / Raa” route is a week-long safari across five atolls: North Male, Baa, Raa, Rasdhoo, and Ari. The program includes about 16 dives: 3 dives per day from Monday to Friday and a final dive with whale shark search and snorkeling.
The route operates during summer season (May–October), when the southwest monsoon brings plankton to the western sides of atolls, attracting manta rays and whale sharks. Baa Atoll is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve with Hanifaru Bay, where dozens of mantas congregate. Raa Atoll offers less visited reefs with rich coral life. The safari starts in Male or Maamigili with a domestic flight.
