Diving on the Makassar — Komodo route

A seven-day route from Makassar on Sulawesi to Labuan Bajo on Flores through Komodo National Park. The route crosses the Flores Sea and includes dives at the best Komodo dive sites — both northern and southern. Northern Komodo offers the famous underwater peaks Castle Rock and Crystal Rock with currents and schools of fish, Cauldron with whirlpools, Batu Bolong, and the walls of Tatawa Besar. Southern Komodo features Manta Alley for manta ray encounters, Pink Beach, and Critterspring for macro diving. The route includes a land excursion to Komodo National Park with the opportunity to see Komodo dragons — the largest lizards on the planet.
