Layang-Layang — Usukan Wrecks

Malaysia · 7–10 nights

A combined route connecting reef diving at Layang-Layang Atoll with exploration of sunken Japanese tankers in Usukan Bay. A two-part program departing from Kota Kinabalu.

The first part features dives at Layang-Layang Atoll (300 km from the Sabah coast) among vertical walls with gorgonians and chances of encountering hammerhead sharks, mantas, and dolphins. En route — Dallas and Mariveles reefs, 2 hours from the atoll. The second part covers the Usukan Bay wrecks: two Japanese tankers Eikyo Maru and Nittetsu Maru, sunk in 1944, lying at 26–40 meters depth.
