Koh Bon, Koh Tachai and Richelieu Rock

Thailand · 2–3 nights
Diving at Koh Bon, Koh Tachai and Richelieu Rock

A compact route to three key sites north of the Similan Islands. The yacht departs from Khao Lak and in a short trip covers Koh Bon, Koh Tachai, and Richelieu Rock — three sites that many divers come to Thailand for.

Koh Bon is a chain of reefs with soft and hard corals where manta rays and leopard sharks regularly appear on the wall. Koh Tachai is a series of underwater mounds in the open sea with strong currents attracting mantas and reef sharks. Richelieu Rock is a horseshoe-shaped pinnacle named by Jacques-Yves Cousteau as one of the world’s best dive sites. Visibility ranges from 10 to 40 meters depending on location, depths reach 50 meters. The route is designed for intermediate and advanced divers.
