HMS Repulse Wreck

Malaysia · 3–5 nights

Technical diving on the sunken British battlecruiser HMS Repulse — one of the world’s most popular wreck sites among technical divers. The 242-meter warship was sunk by Japanese aircraft in December 1941 and lies 50 nautical miles north of Tioman Island.

The HMS Repulse wreck attracts experienced technical divers with strong currents and the scale of the sunken vessel. Large groupers, snappers, barracuda, and sharks have taken up residence on the hull, with occasional whale shark appearances. The dive requires serious preparation and appropriate certification.
