Far North Expedition is an exploratory safari through the northernmost atolls of the Maldivian archipelago: Shaviyani, Haa Alifu, Haa Dhaalu, and Raa. This is an expedition in the true sense — many dive sites here are virtually unexplored, and the yacht crew often discovers new dive points during the trip. Divers complete at least 17 dives per week.
The northern atolls are the least-visited part of the Maldives. There are no dive centers on the islands, no day boats, no crowds. The reefs are in pristine condition, and the chances of unexpected encounters — from hammerhead shark schools to solitary whale sharks — are significantly higher than on popular routes. The route requires a minimum of 50 dives and confidence in open water.
