The 2mm backplate is made from titanium. We use CNC machines to round edges and slots. This processing turns sharp edges into rounded ones, extending the life of your equipment and harness system.
The backplate features additional slots for mounting trim (weight) pockets. This method of weight placement improves trim and balance in the water, allowing ideal weight distribution across the entire body.
The high strength characteristics of titanium combined with low weight and complete corrosion resistance in saltwater make this backplate ideal for technical diving and travel.
