Cayman Aggressor IV

Cayman Aggressor IV is a 33.5-metre (110-foot) steel liveaboard running week-long charters across all three Cayman Islands year-round. Her home port is George Town on Grand Cayman, berthed at the Barcadere Marina beside the George Town Yacht Club. Boarding is Saturday from 4 pm, check-out the following Saturday by 8 am. The Cayman Islands have been an Aggressor destination since 1984.

She carries 18 guests in 9 cabins with a crew of 7. Every cabin has air conditioning, a private en-suite with shower, a TV with a movie selection, a safe, a hairdryer and bathrobes, and all of them have been refurbished recently. The master stateroom, with a king bed and a picture window, sits on the main deck; six deluxe staterooms and two bunk-style staterooms are on the lower deck with portholes. Cabins are serviced daily, with evening turndown and morning coffee brought to your door.

Shared spaces include an air-conditioned salon with dining area and a large screen, an open-air dining deck, and a sun deck with a hot tub, loungers and a grill, plus a bar. There is a camera table with low-pressure air hoses and a separate charging station — lithium batteries may not be charged inside the yacht. Power is 110 V on US-style sockets.

Expect 25–28 dives per charter, up to five a day including night dives. All of them are made straight off the stern platform — the yacht anchors or moors at the site itself and no tenders are used. Weather permitting, the week covers Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac with the Russian destroyer Captain Keith Tibbetts, and Little Cayman with Bloody Bay Wall, one of the finest walls in the Caribbean. Visibility regularly exceeds 30 metres and the water stays at 26–28 °C year-round.

Nitrox 32% is available on board but costs extra — it is not part of the charter fare. A certification card is required of every diver, plus a nitrox card for nitrox. Technical and decompression diving, rebreathers, twin sets and solo diving are not supported.
