1 / 1
A research diving safari at Tubbataha Reefs in collaboration with the Philippine Institute for Large Marine Vertebrate Research LAMAVE. Participants help the LAMAVE team monitor shark and ray movements and habitat use. The program includes deploying a hydroacoustic station for monitoring tiger and grey reef sharks, participating in research dives and installing acoustic receivers. Identification of whale sharks, rays, and turtles complements the scientific component. Tubbataha Marine Park with its North and South atolls is a unique platform for studying shark behavior.
