Talaud is a group of islands in the western Pacific Ocean, located north of Sulawesi island. One of the most remote and expedition-oriented routes in Indonesia. The safari starts from Bitung port in northern Sulawesi and passes through the Sangihe archipelago to the Talaud Islands near the Philippine border. Along the way, the route passes through the Sangihe archipelago with the active underwater volcano Mahangetang — it rises 400 meters from the seabed, with its crater near the water’s surface. Diverse dive sites with coral reefs, schools of fish in open water, encounters with sperm whales and dolphins. A route for divers seeking a true expedition to the edges of the known.
