Sumbawa — Komodo

Indonesia · 7–10 nights
Diving on the Sumbawa — Komodo route

A route from the ports of Bima or Sumbawa Besar on Sumbawa Island to Labuan Bajo on Flores Island through Komodo National Park. The park, declared a World Heritage Site in 1991, is located between the islands of Sumbawa and Flores and covers 132,000 hectares of marine waters. The waters of Komodo contain about 260 coral varieties and 70 sponge species. Seahorses, manta rays, dolphins, whales, and Napoleon wrasse inhabit these waters. On land, one can encounter the legendary Komodo dragon — the world’s largest lizard. The route combines thrilling drift diving in currents with shore excursions in the national park.
