Sulawesi: North to South

Indonesia · 12–14 nights
Diving on the Sulawesi north to south route

An expedition route along the entire coast of Sulawesi island — from Lembeh Strait in the north to the Banggai Islands in the south. The route runs far from beaten paths, and after the first days in Lembeh, encounters with other divers are virtually impossible. Lembeh Strait is the world capital of macro diving. The route then leads to the Bolaang Mongondow reefs. Near Gorontalo, whale sharks are found in open water. The Togian Islands are famous for pristine reefs in Tomini Bay. Pulau Dua island attracts with a variety of sharks. The Banggai Islands are a sparsely populated archipelago with no dive bases, abundant soft and hard corals, schooling trevally, and superb macro life.
