An expedition to the far southern reefs of Sudan — into pristine waters approximately 50 kilometers from the Eritrean border. The two-week route passes through dozens of dive sites, many virtually unvisited by divers. Over 14 days, not a single dive vessel will be encountered — only occasional fishing boats.
The route includes Dahrat Abid with schools of hammerhead sharks, Darraka Island — a Jacques Cousteau research site, Dahrat Qab with mantas and turtles, Habili Lory with silky sharks and soft corals. Other locations include Andrew, Adam, Muchka, Shab Marcel reefs, and Masamirit with its lighthouse. Karam Masamirit reef is considered one of the best in all of the Sudanese Red Sea.
