A safari on the “St. Johns — Abu Fendera — Elba Reef” route starts from Marsa Alam or Marsa Ghalib and includes three reef systems at the far south of Egypt. One of the most remote routes with pristine dive sites.
St. Johns — Habili Ali with giant gorgonians and black corals, reef sharks and schools of hammerheads. Habili Gafaar — soft corals, butterflyfish. Gota Kebir — massive reef with tunnels. Gota Soraya — one of the best Red Sea walls. Abu Fendera — a remote atoll system near the Sudanese border with a pristine main reef 6 km long and several smaller reefs of 400–800 meters.
Elba Reef — a reef system with the wreck “Isola di Levanzo,” a vessel built in 1901 that sank in 1923 at 22–75 meters depth. Pristine corals, diverse marine life. The route requires minimum 50 dives.
