The “North & Wrecks — SS Turkia” route includes the most famous shipwreck sites and best reefs of the northern Red Sea, plus the remote dive site SS Turkia — a cargo ship sunk in the Gulf of Suez in 1941.
Sha’ab El Erg — a horseshoe-shaped reef with dolphins. Small Gubal Island and Bluff Point — reef dives. SS Turkia — a wreck in the Gulf of Suez. Thistlegorm — a legendary WWII wreck. Abu Nuhas — a ship graveyard with the wrecks Carnatic, Chrisoula K, Giannis D, and Kimon M.
Siyul Kebira and Siyul Soraya — coral reefs with diverse marine life. Anrush / Shaab Umm Usk — reef walls. Carless Reef and El Fanadir — reef dives near Hurghada. The route combines wreck diving with reef dives. A minimum of 50 logged dives is recommended for visiting the wrecks.
