The northern Red Sea route — from the wrecks of the Strait of Gubal to the coral reefs of Tiran and the Ras Mohammed reserve. One of Egypt’s most diverse routes, combining world-class wreck diving with pristine national park reefs.
SS Thistlegorm — the main attraction: a British cargo ship sunk in 1941, lying at 30 meters depth. In the holds — motorcycles, trucks, weapons, and ammunition. Abu Nuhas — a “ship graveyard” with a chain of sunken vessels from different eras. Shaab El Erg — a reef where dolphins are frequently encountered.
The Strait of Tiran features four legendary reefs: Jackson, Woodhouse, Thomas, and Gordon. Strong currents carry nutrients, attracting schools of fish, sharks, and turtles. Ras Mohammed — a national park at Sinai’s southern tip: Shark Reef, Yolanda Reef, Anemone City. Sheer walls, richest marine life, hard and soft corals.
