North Sulawesi — Sangihe

Indonesia · 10–12 nights
Diving on the North Sulawesi — Sangihe route

A route from the northern coast of Sulawesi to the Sangihe Archipelago — a chain of 40 volcanic islands extending north toward the Philippines. The safari begins in Lembeh Strait with its legendary macro diving: pygmy seahorses, mimic octopuses, and manta rays. The route then passes through Bangka Island with strong currents and large reef inhabitants, Pulisan Reef, and Bunaken Marine Park with sharks, turtles, and whales. The climax is the Sangihe Archipelago with the underwater volcano Mahangetang, rising 400 meters from the seabed with its crater near the water surface. A unique geological phenomenon for diving.
