Derawan — North Sulawesi — Lembeh

Indonesia · 12–13 nights
Diving on the Derawan — Lembeh route

An extended expedition from the Derawan Archipelago through the Celebes Sea to North Sulawesi and Lembeh Strait. The route combines the manta encounters of Sangalaki and stingless jellyfish lake of Kakaban with the legendary muck diving of Lembeh — one of the world’s premier macro destinations.

The safari passes through Bunaken Marine Park with its dramatic walls and sea turtles before reaching Lembeh. In Lembeh’s volcanic black sand channels, divers find mimic octopuses, hairy frogfish, flamboyant cuttlefish, Ambon scorpionfish, and Bobbit worms. The route traverses some of Indonesia’s most diverse marine ecosystems.
