1 / 1
The route covers three distinct areas of the southern Red Sea: the remote Daedalus Reef, the Fury Shoals reef complex, and the famous Elphinstone. A diversity of sites — from deep-water walls to shallow lagoons with dolphins.
Daedalus Reef is Egypt’s most remote offshore reef. Walls of ancient hard coral colonies drop vertically into the depths. On the northern plateau, hammerhead sharks gather on morning dives. Fury Shoals is a complex of sheltered reefs closer to the coast: Maksur, Claudia, Malahy, and Dolphin House (Sattaya) with a shallow lagoon of 10–15 meters depth where dolphin encounters are virtually guaranteed.
Elphinstone is a reef with sheer walls covered in soft corals. Oceanic whitetip and grey reef sharks circle above the plateaus. The route is balanced: Daedalus deep-water pelagics, relaxed dives at Fury Shoals, and Elphinstone sharks — three different worlds in one trip.
