The route combines dives at the remote Daedalus Reef with a visit to Sha’ab Sataya (Dolphin Reef) — one of the best places in the Red Sea for dolphin encounters. Departure from Marsa Alam or Port Ghalib.
Daedalus Reef is a massive reef formation located approximately 180 km south of Brother Islands. Steep walls on all sides, plateaus at depths of 28–40 meters. Reef and hammerhead sharks are regularly encountered here, along with schools of surgeonfish, groupers, and trevallies. Beautiful hard and soft corals cover the reef walls.
Sha’ab Sataya (Dolphin Reef) is a large natural lagoon surrounded by a massive reef. The stars of the reef are huge pods of dolphins that come here to rest and play. Besides dolphins — vibrant coral gardens, turtles, and diverse reef life.
