Route A through the central Galapagos Islands covers the main dive sites of the archipelago. The safari includes dives at the islands of Santa Cruz, Santiago, Bartolome, and other central islands. Galapagos sharks, sea lions, marine iguanas, and sea turtles are regular companions on every dive.
The central islands offer more sheltered conditions than the remote northern islands of Darwin and Wolf, making this route suitable for advanced divers who may not yet be ready for extreme currents. Underwater volcanic landscapes with arches, tunnels, and lava formations create a unique backdrop for encounters with endemic Galapagos species.
