A transit route from Bali to Flores with dives along the Nusa Tenggara islands and in Komodo National Park. The safari starts off Bali’s east coast and moves east through volcanic Satonda Island with its crater lake, Bima Bay on Sumbawa, and Sangeang Island — an active volcano whose black slopes descend underwater and become home to unique macro inhabitants. In Komodo waters, divers encounter underwater pinnacles with powerful currents, schools of barracudas and trevallies, manta rays, and reef sharks. The route ends in Labuan Bajo port on Flores — the starting point for land excursions to Komodo dragons and the three-colored crater lakes of Kelimutu. Especially interesting for underwater photographers thanks to the diverse macro life on volcanic substrate.
