Olim - ProWin Pronature Explorer 2

Olim is a new addition to the ProWin Pro Nature fleet, expanding the Pico Sport lineup. The vessel is a VZ 45 powered by 2 Caterpillar engines of 430 hp each. On board there is one Master cabin with a private shower and toilet and two TWIN cabins with a shared bathroom. The yacht comfortably accommodates a maximum of 6 divers and follows the same itinerary as Narobla. Olim is equipped with a dive ladder and dive rack, 1 Coltri compressor, 14 x 12-litre tanks and safety equipment. The boat is already open for bookings at the same rates as Narobla — ideal for micro-groups. Please note that this type of vessel cannot be compared with the huge dive yachts found in Egypt or the Galapagos, since the Azores season lasts only 3 months. But it is a fantastic opportunity to spend the night at Princess Alice Bank and complete 6 or more dives there — and of course we dive at legendary shark sites such as Banco Condor. The boat is still at the yard in the Algarve awaiting delivery to Pico Island. OUR STORY Pico Sport has been operating on Pico Island since 1993, doing everything possible to bring people closer to the ocean. Frank, the company founder, opened the first dolphin school for children in the 1990s. Together with Dr Erich K. Ritter he discovered hammerhead shark nurseries in the Azores as well as dive sites for blue shark encounters. Seminars with researchers and biologists are held on a regular basis.
