In the Maldives, these dive boats are called dhonis. This separation into the main vessel and dive boat makes the yacht more spacious while also helping to organize dives, as all equipment is in one place, and the stability and low freeboard of the dhoni make entries from its dive platform easier. To participate in a safari on Blueshark Two, you generally need an AOWD (Advanced Open Water Diver) certification and at least 30 logged dives, though some safaris may accept divers with less experience.
