Akomo Isseki was built in Indonesia on the beaches of Mandala Ria, in the village of Ara and at the Bonto Bahari shipyards in Tanah Beru, using tropical hardwood from the forests of Kendari. She was launched in 2018. Blending timeless appeal with 21st-century technology, the vessel offers safe sailing through magical Indonesian waters. This beautiful sailing ship — capable of crossing thousands of nautical miles in search of the finest dive sites in Indonesia — is remarkably economical to run. The yacht was built with environmental responsibility in mind: all electrical systems are solar-powered to minimise emissions and noise. We take great pride in offering truly quiet nights, letting guests catch the ever-present sounds of the jungle and the rhythm of the surf. The traditional pinisi vessel features four twin cabins, a shared dining area, a covered dive deck and a generous sun zone. Beyond the comfortable and spacious cabins, guests can relax in the panoramic-windowed saloon and dining room, chat with the chef, unwind with a cold beer, swap stories with friends, or pick up a book from the small library. On deck, comfortable sun loungers await — watch breathtaking sunsets and enjoy freshly prepared Indonesian and Western dishes, fresh bread, hot coffee and more.
